Did you know you can paint your flowers any color you want?

Two of the most commonly used floral sprays are "Just For Flowers" & "Color Tool" both by Design Master, "Color Tool" is the one I prefer.

Tinted or sprayed flowers are not for everyone; Some customers like it more than others.  Personally, I think flowers paint is great and very useful. There are times when paint, if used correctly, will help florists and customers get that perfect color to match their desired taste.  For instance, we had a customer getting married last weekend and he told us that blue roses were "a must have" for his wedding. I explained to him that it was not possible to get natural blue roses. When I suggested to have them spray painted, he asked for a sample...needless to say that he was more than satisfied with the outcome and placed his order with us right away.

For us at the shop Prom season (which is coming soon by the way) seems to be the time when we use spray paint the most. High school kids looking to match their dresses are the ones who usually ask us to spray paint flowers for accents on their corsages or boutonnieres for guys.
 

We also use spray paint whenever special jobs are requested. We have done logos before and flags as well. For these big jobs we preffer to use carnations because they absorb the paint with ease and also gives us a more "natural" look and result.

There are other flowers that can be sprayed painted such as hydrangeas, fuji mums, roses and daysies also.

If you are one of those people who like spray painted flowers, make sure you ask your local florist if they offer this service. I'm sure ALL florists will work with you by either having your flowers painted or by finding substitutions for the color you wish to have.
